Stay Connected Through Aztec Network

SDSU’s new digital networking platform, Aztec Network, embodies that culture. It’s designed to help connect the community, present opportunities for student and alumni mentorship and allow Aztecs to expand their professional networks and even find jobs — and is open to staff, faculty, alumni, students and donors.

Hire an Aztec

Help SDSU students gain first-hand professional experience by offering an internship at your company. Aztecs Hiring Aztecs is a great way to provide students with mentorship and training, as well as to expand the Aztec network. Your company can also participate in one of our many career fairs throughout the academic year.

Become an Aztec Mentor

Invest 8 hours in mentorship over a semester to help students become career-ready. Once a student is matched with a mentor, the pair may work together throughout the semester and can look forward to events such as the Networking Event on campus.

The Aztec Mentor Program is now housed through Aztec Network. Visit the “Mentoring” page on the Aztec Network website to get started.

Volunteer at the Annual Student Research Symposium

The SDSU Student Symposium (S3) is a public forum where graduate and undergraduate students have the opportunity to present their research, scholarship and creative activities. In 2024, over 650 students presented their research. The symposium occurs each spring semester and welcomes volunteers to participate as judges and/or moderators for the presentations.

Guest Speak to Student Groups

Various student groups in each department welcome guest speakers from companies and businesses that closely align with career opportunities they are seeking after graduation. This is a great opportunity to share your professional experience and insight with our students.

Attend a Lecture or Seminar

Throughout the semester, each department hosts numerous lectures and seminars featuring distinguished colleagues and professionals from the field. For more information, please contact us or visit our events calendar.
