Faith Moore has been selected as the student representative for the Geological Society of America’s Environmental and Engineering Geology Division (EEGD). She will be serving in this capacity for the next two years as a voting member. Her roll includes advising the Division Board Members on student matters as well as Division outreach to young audiences including social media. She will serve on the GSA Student Advisory Group on behalf of the EEGD.
Faith’s new position with EEGD is a direct outgrowth of her participation in the GSAs On To the Future program which supported her attendance at the GSA annual meeting in Denver last September.
