Congratulations to SDSU Psychology Undergraduate Student Rifqi Affan

Congratulations to Rifqi Affan, an undergraduate psychology student, on receiving the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. Rifqi is a MARC scholar (Maximizing Access to Research Careers: NIH/NIGMS), he is the first author on a recently published manuscript investigating spontaneous neural oscillations in young binge drinkers, and is a recipient of the Dean’s Award for this work at the Student Research Symposium in 2017. Rifqi has been working in Dr. Ksenija Marinkovic’s Spatio-Temporal Imaging Lab since 2016. He will be graduating this spring and will continue his studies in the prestigious Graduate Program for Neuroscience at Boston University.
