Bio
Yurie is a fourth-year undergraduate student at San Diego State University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies through the Weber Honors College. She is interested in child development and how social and environmental factors, including family income, race, language background, and parenting practices, shape children’s well-being.
Her experience as a preschool assistant teacher strengthened this interest. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. and contribute to creating healthier environments and more equitable educational opportunities for children.

Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time with her dog, watching movies, and trying new foods and restaurants.
