Bio

Wade is a PhD student studying cell and molecular biology in the joint doctoral program with UC San Diego. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a research technician at Sonoran University investigating the transcriptomic effects of plant-derived compounds on mammalian cell lines. This work influenced his decision to pursue graduate school where he aims to better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying host-microbe interactions.
