Bio

Sarah is focusing on generating mammalian cell membrane vesicles for use in high throughput permeability assays. Sarah received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from SDSU and is now pursuing a degree from the UCSD/SDSU JDP program. She is interested in developing therapeutic agents capable of passive membrane permeation, with a particular focus on beyond-Rule-of-5 (bRo5) chemical modalities for targeting traditionally undruggable proteins. In her free time Sarah enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with friends.
