Bio

I am an undergraduate pre-PA Public Health major with a double minor in Biology & Spanish at San Diego State University, and I currently serve as a Peer Mentor at HPAO (Health Professions Advising Office). Being a peer mentor, I have the greatest privilege to help share my knowledge on student involvement, academic planning, and being pre-PA to colleagues at SDSU. Being a first-generation college student, as well as the first to enter medicine, I have made it a priority to support and guide students who may feel overwhelmed on what their next steps may be and to make my knowledge accessible to students, and HPAO allows me to do so! I look forward to
creating an environment where all students feel welcome and may leave feeling more at ease knowing they have a support system at HPAO.

In addition to my work at HPAO, I work as a Medical Assistant at San Diego Sexual Medicine and serve on two Executive Boards. As an Event Coordinator for the Pre-Physician Associate Student Association (PASA), I help create events where students can learn about the PA profession while engaging with each other, ensuring we foster a community where we grow and support each other. As President and Program Coordinator of Every Player Plays (EPP), I aid in creating a safe and collaborative environment for neurodiverse children to develop their social communication skills through weekly practice sessions. Offering free-sessions to families where we play soccer and basketball!
