I am proposing that San Diego County soils are significantly different from the currently used models and therefore to know the value of these carbon farming plans, soil testing and analysis can be extremely beneficial. There are over 4000 farms in San Diego County with an average area less than 3 acres.
This allows an opportunity to measure the efficacy of multiple types of carbon farming plans, operations that are organic, transitional organic, conventional, and also different crop type impacts (i.e., industrial hemp versus orchard crops).
