Bio
I’m a senior pre-med student at San Diego State University double majoring in Biology and Psychology. As an HPAO Peer Mentor, I support pre-health students with academic planning, extracurricular involvement, and navigating the many pathways to professional school.
As a first-generation Afghan student with a nontraditional journey to medicine, I’m passionate about helping students find clarity in their own paths! I strive to create a supportive, honest, and welcoming space where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring options, and remembering that success doesn’t follow a single timeline.
Outside of HPAO, I’m involved in research, clinical work at Scripps, and campus leadership that continue to shape my interest in patient-centered care. Fun fact: I’m a huge movie lover and can always appreciate a good film recommendation.
