Bio
Joanna is a Master of Public Health student with a concentration in Epidemiology at San Diego State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science with double majors in Human Biology and Psychology, with a specialization in Human Health, from the University of California, San Diego.
With a background in both biological and behavioral sciences, Joanna has a passion for understanding health and the factors that shape health outcomes. She is currently gaining experience as an Assistant Data Manager for Faith in Action, where she supports data management, data cleaning, and ensuring data quality to help prepare study datasets for analysis. Through her work in public health, Joanna hopes to use data-driven methods to better understand health outcomes and contribute to efforts that improve health and well-being.
