Bio

I am an undergraduate pre-dental biology major at San Diego State University and currently serve as a Peer Mentor to the Health Professions Advising Office. In this role, I help students navigate their pre-health journeys by supporting academic planning, extracurricular involvement, and professional development.

I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and bring a perspective that values growth, exploration, and balance. I strive to create a supportive, welcoming space within HPAO and the pre-health community.

In addition to my work at HPAO, I am involved in Dr.Capelson’s research lab here at SDSU, where I contribute to projects focused on nuclear pores through assisting in RNA interference and cDNA synthesis to analyze how pores react to minimal protein levels. I also work as a Biology and Chemistry tutor at the Math and Science Learning Center (MSLC), and am involved in numerous clubs on campus (i.e. Flying Samaritans, Pre-Dental Organization, Iraqi Student Association)
