Bio

I’m an undergraduate pre-med psychology major at San Diego State University, and I currently work as an Advising Assistant in HPAO alongside the Pre-Health Professional Lead Advisor, Dr.Karla Viramontes. I support students with academic planning, getting involved outside the classroom, and thinking through their professional goals as they navigate the pre-health path.When I first started, I had very little knowledge about pre-health tracks, so I know firsthand how confusing and overwhelming it can feel. Because of that, I really enjoy sharing what I’ve learned and helping students feel more confident as they grow into their own goals and find balance along the way. I aim to create a welcoming, supportive space in HPAO and within the pre-health community where students feel comfortable asking questions and supported throughout their journey.

In addition to my work at HPAO, I am involved in Women in Science Society and Beta Psi Omega. I volunteer with the Crisis Text Line and am working towards my EMT certification. I love hiking, traveling, yoga, and reading and spend lots of time at the beach and trying new food and coffee places around San Diego!
