Bio
I am an undergraduate pre-med biology major at San Diego State University and currently serve as a Peer Advisor to the Health Professions Advising Office. As a Peer Advisor in the Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO), I support pre-health students by providing guidance on academic planning, prerequisite coursework, and preparation for medical and other health professional school pathways. I assist students during drop-in advising hours by answering questions about application timelines, extracurricular involvement, and campus resources, while sharing my own experience navigating the pre-med track. I am excited to mentor other students,
offer encouragement, and help them feel confident and supported as they navigate the challenges of pursuing a career in healthcare.
In addition to my work at HPAO, I am involved in the House Cancer Research lab where I study how chemical exposures affect tumor microenvironments and metastasis in triple-negative cancer. I also serve on the executive board of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), where I help lead initiatives that support pre-medical students through mentorship, events, and professional development.
