I am a doctoral student in Cell and Molecular Biology. My research focuses on estrogen receptor positive breast cancer. For my thesis work, I aim to better understand how the extracellular matrix, specifically collagen, informs tumor progression and metastasis.

Research
In the Haricharan lab, we work to better understand the implications of DNA damage repair deficiencies in breast cancer as well as mechanisms that underlie racial disparities in breast cancer outcome to improve patient outcomes and cancer health equity.
