Bio
I am a third year Physics M.S. student. I spent the first two years of the M.S. program using density functional theory to calculate optical properties of defects in hexagonal boron nitride. More recently, I have transitioned to investigating the connection between geometry and physical properties in moire materials.
Outside of research, I was the president of SDSU's Graduate Society of Physicists during the 2025-2026 academic year, and continue to be involved in physics related activities and events on campus.
