Bio
I am an undergraduate pre-med psychology major at San Diego State University and currently serve as an Advising Assistant to HPAO’s Pre-Health Professional Lead Advisor, Dr. Karla Viramontes. In this role, I support students with academic planning, extracurricular involvement, and professional development as they navigate their pre-health journeys. As someone with a nontraditional path to medicine, I’m excited to share what I have learned and offer a perspective that emphasizes growth, exploration, and balance. I strive to foster a supportive, welcoming environment in HPAO and the pre-health community.
In addition to my work at HPAO, I am involved in clinical radiation oncology research at the University of California, San Diego, where I contribute to projects focused on developing novel radiation treatment planning techniques and improving the use of radiotherapy for central nervous system cancers.
